These practical kayaking sessions are over the course of 12 weeks for school year 7+, and will develop your skills, which will allow you to experience being in control of your own kayak and canoe. We will cover the basic strokes for paddling. For those who came along last year we will carry on with your skills and introduce new ones.

We will begin the course developing our paddling skills in kayaks and canoes at Injebreck Reservoir and progress out to the sea after TT week as skills and weather inprove.

This course can be used for anyone working towards the physical element of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. The Course Leaders are well qualified and are experienced. Your safety is always paramount. The course cost will cover use of equipment.

Wednesday evenings @ Ardwhallan, 6pm to 8pm.
