The attic houses a 12 bed dormitory as well as another shower. Bedrooms have bunk beds, mattresses and pillows. You will need to bring further bedding (sleeping bags) with you.

The Grounds

The Ardwhallan grounds contain activities and facilities for a variety of groups. Within the grounds there is an assault course, archery range, problem solving field, low ropes course, climbing tower and a fully functional replica viking longhouse. The grounds have been used for many events including Geddyn Mach, Ellan Vannin Fuels Adventure Challenge, school trips and corporate team building days. We also have a watersports area on Injerbreck resevoir; this is where we store our watersports equipment and run our watersport sessions from.

Mike Clague Outdoor Studies Building

Containing a fully furnished lecture room, including a projector and whiteboards, the MCOSB is an educational facility that allows for learning to take place inside before taking the adventure outside. Also contained in the MCOSB are changing rooms, fitted with showers and toilets, and our equipment store.

Paul Young Outdoor Classroom

The newly built PYC is another space which we can utilise for the classroom aspects of outdoor learning. It has greatly expanded our capacity to take multiple groups at the same time in the centre's grounds.
